Why use a mobile dog grooming service?

I can fit into your busy schedule and come to you. Your dog will have one on one attention, no waiting around in a cage, a less stressful environment. You also won’t have to worry if your bitch is in season.

How often should I have my dog groomed?

About every 6-8 weeks.

Why do I need to have my dog groomed?

• Cleanliness – removes dirt/dead hair
• Health – Stimulates new coat growth and prevents formation of knots
• Appearance – dog looks their best
• Relationship – grooming is part of dogs socialisation activities

What are the benefits of a Hydrobath?

The spray head produces a unique hydro-combing action that massages and stimulates the skin. This helps with blood circulation and relieves tired muscles. Water penetrates the coat getting right to the skin removing dry dead skin cells.

When should my puppy first be groomed?

Once your puppy has had their vaccinations. It is a good idea to get your puppy used to grooming as soon as possible.

How long will the grooming session take?

Please allow two hours.

What if I get the answer machine?

I may be driving or grooming. I will call back and let you know my next availability alternatively please feel free to text or email me

Can I pay by debit/credit card?

Yes, Parlour does accept card payments via PayPal (a charge of 2.75% is added when using PayPal which, for example, would be an extra £1.10 on a £40 service).

Do you disinfect after each dog?

The mobile Parlour is cleaned after each dog,not only at the end of the day.

Do you use fresh towels for each dog?

Yes.

What if my dog is timid or nervous?

Parlour mobile grooming is ideal for timid or nervous dogs. The dog can meet the groomer in the safety and familiarity of their own home, accompanied by the owner. Because the service is one to one the Parlour is quiet and there is very little for your dog to fear.

Do you use fresh, clean water for shampooing?

Unlike other mobile services, Parlour does not recycle water. Fresh, warm water will be used for both shampoo and rinse.
